Dental Implants and Bone Grafting
In the first image there is not enough quality bone to safely place a dental implant.
After a bone graft procedure, in the second image, the patient’s cells migrate to the graft and initiates new bone formation.
Over time, this new bone will completely replace the allograft material.
The now restored jaw has adequate room and quality for the placement of a dental implant.

1. The dental implants are placed on the bone below the gum tissue.
2. A temporary abutment is placed on the implant until the healing phase is complete ( Approx. 3 - 4 months).
3. After healing, the final abutment is attached to the implant. It will hold a custom-made crown that the dental laboratory will process to match to your other teeth.
4. Finally, the custom made crown is firmly placed onto the abutment. The tooth has been replaced without disturbing the healthy teeth next to it and bone loss has been eliminated.

What is the difference between "All on 4" and "All on 6" Solutions?
The answer is simple: All on 4, involves the placement of four dental implants as pillars for a fixed porcelain bridge or a fixed hybrid denture; whereas All on 6 involves the placement of six dental implants.
Most of the time, patients wonder if it's better to place more or less dental implants, it depends on each individual case, but, if it's possible, we always prefer to go with more than just four dental implants.
Once the implants integrate and become part of the jaw bone (3-4 months after their placement), they will be the base (pillars) for the bridge that will support the dental crowns or a hybrid bridge.

2.- Temporal Restoration

3.- Procedure day
Dental implants placement and temporary restoration installed.
Part of or professional team is an Anesthesiologist (MD) who can sedate you in case you feel more comfortable that way, but the whole treatment can be perfectly done with just local anesthesia as every other dental procedure.
4.- Final Restoration
3- 4 months later after the correct dental implants oseo-integration, we delivered the final restoration.
